😇 Reduced fees
All our transactions used to cost a flat fee of $2 + 2%. We realize that there are multiple costs for users on the path to being staked and we want to make the best effort to help you build your wealth without getting in a way. Thus, we’re significantly reducing fees (3X–4X cheaper) across the board:
- Send, Cancel (pending stake), Good accounting: FREE (no Staker fee)
- Swap, Stake, End-stake: reduced fees to ~0.4% on average
- Cap of $200 for larger investors
We also continuously integrate and negotiate the best deal with our different integration partners like Ramp.network or 1inch.io so users benefit from the most competitive prices on the market.
🔐 Secret Recovery Phrase
We’re now replacing the term seed phrase with secret recovery phrase. We’re following Metamask’s move to make the terminology more accessible to a broader audience and communicate its importance. Please make sure to save your secret recovery phrase in a secure location (physically and/or digitally). The Staker will never have access to it and will never ask for it.

🤖 HEX Everywhere!!
Firebun developed 2 smart contracts in order to scale access to HEX on the Ethereum network and far beyond. Today, anyone can now:
- Create a stake and sell shares off it (the minter)
- Buy a fraction of shares minted by existing stakes (the buyer)
Main Rules
- The minter is considered the custodian of the stake
- The minter can apply a fee for providing liquid shares (similar to a liquidity provider on Uniswap)
- The stake cannot be ended early
- Anyone can end the stake when it reaches maturity
- If no one ends the stake within 10 days after the maturity date, the minter’s fee is paid to the first caller.
Pros

- Don’t worry about ending the stake
- Discounted shares and the ability to buy into a stake that has accrued interest already
- HEX Shares from Ethreum can be ported anywhere!
Cons
- No emergency end stake
- If the minter fee is worth less than the cost to end stake then there’s a risk it will fall on a share owner to end it
See the smart contracts published on GitHub. They went through a lot of scrutiny and testing but did not go through any 3rd party audit so please use with extreme caution. Bug bounty: we’re offering up to 10 ETH for uncovering bugs or issues.
Staker will provide an interface for minting/buying shares but anyone is welcome to contribute to the code or build on top of it. 🙌
